Ping Monitor is a free tool that automatically monitors connections to hosts, both in the local network and on the Internet. It does this by sending regular pings and analyzing responses. If the pings fail a certain number of times in a row, the application will detect and report an outage. Ping Monitor can run continuously to track the connection states and generate connection statistics, which are displayed on the main screen. The information shown for each host includes monitoring time, uptime percentage, and total number of outages.
